Chat that flows both ways

Game chat appears in Discord as the player - their name, their Steam avatar. Discord messages print back into the game, clearly marked. Relayed messages can never ping anyone, and every channel decides for itself what it wants to see.

With gamemodes in mind

Round-based gamemode? Dead players' chat stays out of public channels until a channel explicitly allows it - no ghosting. Private team chat (like TTT's traitor chat) never leaves the server, and hooks let any gamemode fine-tune what relays and add its own player-list variable.
